Riccione is committed to environmental protection and sustainable development, utilizing rubber wood as the primary material for furniture manufacturing. Rubber wood, which matures in just 20–30 years from planting to harvesting, imposes minimal environmental burden.
At Riccione, sustainability is not a feature — it is our foundation. We believe furniture should be crafted with care for both the home and the planet, balancing timeless design with responsible production.
We primarily use Malaysian rubberwood — a fast-renewing timber harvested after its latex-producing cycle (20–30 years). By repurposing plantation wood that would otherwise be discarded, we reduce environmental impact while giving new life to natural resources.
All timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests with certified traceability, including MTC and FSC standards, ensuring transparency from origin to final product.
Our products comply with E0 environmental standards for low formaldehyde emissions and are tested by recognized international bodies. We prioritize safe finishes and coatings to create healthier indoor environments for families.
