Shipping policy

At Riccione, we take pride in delivering high-quality furniture safely and efficiently to our customers across West Malaysia. Every piece is handled with care—from our warehouse to your home or business—ensuring a seamless experience from purchase to installation.

 

1. Delivery Coverage

We currently offer delivery services within West Malaysia only. This includes major cities and towns across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Pahang, Perak, Penang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Kedah, and Perlis. We do not deliver to East Malaysia or international locations at this time.

 

2. Delivery Methods

We provide two types of delivery services:

a. In-House Delivery

  • Performed by our professional delivery and assembly team.
  • Includes furniture placement and on-site assembly (where applicable).
  • Suitable for large or delicate items.

b. Courier Delivery

  • Used only for smaller items that do not require assembly.
  • A tracking number will be provided upon dispatch.

 

3. Delivery Fees & Free Delivery Thresholds

To provide transparent and value-added service, we offer free delivery for orders that meet a minimum purchase threshold, depending on your delivery area. For orders that fall below this threshold, a delivery fee will apply.

All deliveries include professional on-site assembly by our trained installation team at no extra cost (for eligible areas and order types).

Note: Exact delivery charges will be calculated during checkout based on your address.

 

4. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timelines are as follows:

  • Ready Stock Items: Dispatched within 7–10 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after full payment.
  • Made-to-Order / Backordered Items: Typically require 4–8 weeks, depending on production and availability. Estimated delivery dates are available on each product page.
  • Festive Seasons: Delivery timelines may be extended during peak periods such as Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, and other national holidays. Orders may take up to 14 days or more to arrive. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

5. Delivery Scheduling

  • We do not offer a fixed delivery date selection at checkout. However, you may indicate a preferred delivery date in the “Order Notes” section, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
  • You will be notified of your delivery at least 3 days in advance, including driver and vehicle details.
  • The driver will also call upon arrival.

 

6. Split Deliveries

If your order contains both ready stock and backordered/made-to-order items, the order will be shipped together once all items are available.

If you wish to receive your ready stock items earlier, you may request a split delivery:

  • Requests must be made within 24 hours of placing the order.
  • Additional delivery charges apply.
  • Contact our team at riccione@riccione.asia to arrange.

 

7. Delivery Changes & Rescheduling

  • Changes to delivery date or address must be made at least 3 working days before the scheduled delivery date.
  • Requests made less than 3 working days before delivery may incur re-delivery charges.

 

8. Missed Deliveries & Re-Delivery

To avoid additional charges:

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the delivery at the scheduled time.
  • If delivery fails due to no one being present or access not being granted (e.g., building or guardhouse restrictions), a re-delivery fee will be imposed.

 

9. Building Access & Delivery Readiness

Please ensure that:

  • Your building or residential area permits furniture delivery on the scheduled date and time.
  • Any necessary permission forms or booking slots (for lifts, loading bays, etc.) are arranged in advance.

Our team cannot wait for access to be granted, as other deliveries are scheduled.

 

10. Self Pick-Up Option

You are welcome to self-collect your order from our Setia Alam warehouse, free of charge. If you choose this option:

  • Please bring your order confirmation and identification.
  • Products collected must be assembled by the customer (DIY). Assembly instructions will be provided.

 

11. Delivery Inspection

We strongly encourage you to:

  • Inspect your furniture upon delivery.
  • Immediately report any damage or issue via our Product Issue Form within 24 hours.
