The beginning of Sail
At Sail by Riccione Reka, we believe a home should be more than a place to live — it should be a space that nurtures calm, beauty, and meaningful living.
Founded in Chengdu in 2011, Sail was born from a simple reflection: What does an ideal life look like? From this question emerged a design philosophy rooted in nature, tranquility, and timeless aesthetics.
Today, Sail has established offline showrooms across more than 30 major cities, bringing thoughtfully designed furniture and customized living spaces to families who appreciate beauty, simplicity, and authenticity.
The name “Sail” symbolizes a peaceful and elegant environment — a place where life slows down and harmony returns. Through designs that soothe the soul, we seek to reconnect modern living with nature’s quiet wisdom.
Every piece of furniture we design begins with observation: the textures of mountains, the rhythm of landscapes, the calm of mist over valleys, and the timeless beauty found in natural materials.
Our design team has traveled through high mountains, snowy plateaus, quiet lakes, and open meadows, searching for inspiration that reflects the emotional connection between people and nature. These experiences shaped our Natural Line series, a collection of furniture concepts inspired by the landscapes of western Sichuan.
From these explorations emerged several signature design series — each one interpreting nature through a different design language.
